School will be closed from Friday April 7th through Monday April 10th for Spring Break. We hope our Woodson Wave Families have a Happy Easter and safe Spring Break. We will welcome students back on Tuesday, April 11th.

Congratulations to Rihanna Williams in Mr. Daniels' 4th grade class! She was our 1,000th Lexia certificate. This was Rihanna's third level passed this year! Every time a student passes a level they earn a trip to our book vending machine. As a school we have given out over 1,000 books! Reminder: Today, 4/6/23 is an early dismissal day, then SCPS schools and offices will close for Spring Break on Friday 4/7 and Monday 4/10. We hope everyone has a restful break and we look forward to welcoming back students and staff on Tuesday 4/11.
Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will complete state testing at the end of the month. We would love to reward them for their hard work. To help raise money for this, students may dress casual for $1.00 on Thursday, April 6th. When choosing their special outfit, please keep in mind the county dress code guidelines

What a fun morning at the BOE! SCPS' Special Education Department Family Support Services, in partnership with Somerset County Infants & Toddlers and the Judy Center Early Learning Hub hosted the Sensory Easter Bunny Event. Students enjoyed arts & crafts, sensory friendly activities and games and some treats to sweeten the deal!

Friday, March 31st will be a free casual day for students and staff, because it is the last day of the month. Students may wear jeans, but they cannot have any rips, shreds, or holes in them or holes with patches behind them even if they were purchased that way. No halter tops or tank tops with spaghetti straps will be permitted. No mid-drift tops or low cut tops will be allowed. Shorts or skirts should be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee.
