Winter Sports Pictures will be taken Monday, Feb. 24 beginning at 10:30 with the JV Boys Basketball team followed by the Boys Varsity Basketball, Girls JV Basketball, Girls Varsity Basketball, Cheerleading, and Indoor Track. Students: please bring your uniforms with you if you have not turned them in yet.

The basketball games against Washington scheduled for today will now be played tomorrow. The Varsity boys game will be played at Crisfield Academy & High School and begin at 5:00. There will not be a JV game. The Varsity girls game will be played at Washington Academy & High School and begin at 5:00. There will not be a JV game. The Varsity boys will also play on Saturday at Snow Hill High School at 12:00 (noon). There will not be a JV game.

Join SECAC on 3/5/25 at the Somerset Board of Education office to discover valuable tips & strategies for supporting your child at home, and connect with other families who share similar experiences. This event will feature guest speakers & special education teachers, Ms. Jennifer Bennett & 2023 Somerset Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Tania Cunningham-Raycrow. Light refreshments will be served.

Crisfield Academy & High School wants to thank the SADD group at Washington Academy & High School for organizing last nights fundraiser to benefit Mrs. PJ Simpson and her husband. We want to thank everyone who made monetary donations as well as those who dined at Caesar's with a percentage going towards the fundraiser. Every little bit helps. The turnout was overwhelming. If you were unable to make it to Caesar's but would still like to make a donation, you can drop it off at CAHS or WAHS. Thank you to all!

Tonight's (Feb. 19) FAFSA event is rescheduled for Tuesday, February 25th, 4pm - 6pm.

Due to anticipated inclement weather, all schools will dismiss early today, Weds., 2/19/25. Elementary dismissal at 12:30 PM, and secondary dismissal at 11:30 AM. All afterschool activities & evening events are canceled. Please be safe and attend to future updates.


Congratulations to Randy Laird for being recognized at the BOE meeting for being an outstanding teacher. He is on multiple local boards and extensively involved in the Crisfield community. Mr. Laird is also the NHS, Senior advisor, and social studies department chair at CAHS.
In the classroom, Mr Laird's students have consistently achieved proficient or exemplary on state tests for the US Government curriculum.


Congratulations to Mrs. Amanda Lankford for being recognized at the BOE meeting for being National Board Certified - one of 4 teaching in the county currently.
CAHS is very proud of our outstanding staff.
